Postdoctoral Fellow

General requirements (all candidates):

  1. you have, or will soon have, a PhD degree in a related field;
  2. you have published at least one first-author peer-reviewed paper in a related topic;
  3. you have strong written and oral communication skills in English;
  4. you are self-motivated, collaborative, and excited about our research.

For AI-for-omics (dry lab) applicants, we additionally expect:

  • a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field;
  • proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, Julia, C/C++);
  • prior experience with omics data analysis and/or modern machine learning / deep learning methods.

For cancer & microbiology (wet lab) applicants, we additionally expect:

  • a PhD in cancer biology, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, or a related field;
  • hands-on experience with relevant experimental techniques (e.g., cell culture, molecular cloning, mouse models, microbial culture, single-cell / spatial omics, CRISPR-based screens);
  • openness to integrating computational analysis with experimental work.

We initially provide a two-year contract with an annual salary of at least RMB 330,000 (US$51,000). For top candidates, the annual salary can be increased to at least RMB 500,000 (US$77,600). All salaries include government subsidies.
